The Long Island chapter of the Association of Legal Administers has appointed a new president.
Linda Tierney, the director of office management of Forchelli Deegan Terrana in Uniondale, will serve a one-year term in her role as president. Tierney is a Massapequa resident.
Formed in 1989, the organization’s Long Island chapter has more than 40 members from area law firms. It provides support to those involved in management of law firms, corporate legal departments and government legal agencies.
The organization’s mission is to promote the competency and professionalism of legal administrators and all members of the management team within the legal industry.
