WASDE Day! The Corn & Ethanol Report 11/09/2022

[ad_1]

We kickoff the day with Fed Waller Speech at 1:00 A.M., Core Inflation Rate MoM & YoY (Oct), Export Sales, Inflation Rate MoM & YoY (Oct), Initial Jobless Claims (05/Nov), CPI (Oct), Continuing Jobless Claims (29/Oct), and Jobless Claims 4-Week Average (05/Nov) at 730 A.M., Fed Harker Speech 8:00 A.M., Fed Logan Speech at 8:35 A.M., EIA Natural Gas Storage at 9:30 A.M., 4-Week & 8-Week Bill Auction at 10:30 A.M., Fed Mester Speech at 11:30 A.M., 30-Year Bond Auction at 12:00 P.M., Fed George Speech at 12:30 P.M., Monthly Budget Statement at 1:00 A.M., and Fed Williams Speech at 5:35 P.M.

On the Corn Front flash sales did not show up in todays Export Sales and the sales were nothing to get excited about. Harvest is mostly done as we have a big cold front moving across the Great Lakes region tomorrow. The corn and soybeans seem to be trading in harvest pressure mode. The higher U.S. dollar is not helping matters. I do expect exports to pickup in the near future.

On the Ethanol Front the cash market continues to move globally. There are countries moving to E15 or plus regardless of their dependency on imports. With a healthy futures remain drydock.

Have A Great Trading Day!
