A new Jersey Mike’s Subs shop will be coming to West Hempstead.
The new 1,100-square-foot sandwich store will be opening in the Nassau Plaza shopping center at the southwest corner of Hempstead Turnpike and Nassau Boulevard. It’s expected to open by the summer.
The sub shop joins the Nassau Plaza tenant roster that includes CVS Pharmacy, GoHealth Urgent Care, Verizon Wireless, Boston Market, and Capital One Bank.
Founded in 1956, Jersey Mike’s now has more than 2,300 locations nationwide, with many more under development.
Greg Batista of RIPCO Real Estate represented Jersey Mike’s, while Robert Delavale served as the in-house representative for landlord Breslin Organization in the West Hempstead lease transaction.
