Paris Baquette, a growing chain of bakery cafés, has opened in the Gallery at Westbury Plaza in Garden City.
The 2,950-square-foot retail space at 924 Old Country Road has seating for 40 people.
Paris Baquette offers a menu of pastries and cakes, featuring signature items such as strawberry soft cream cake, mochi donuts, and chocolate croissants.
The new Paris Baquette is the chain’s first Long Island location. Another store is scheduled to open soon in Plainview.
To celebrate its grand opening, Paris Baquette sent a coupon to local residents for a free small hot coffee, $3 off whole cakes and a buy-one-get-one pastry offer.
“We’re so excited to be opening a new location in the Gallery at Westbury Plaza,” store owner and operator Shauny Lamba said in a company statement. “After months of waiting, the time is now here to grab a cup of coffee and celebrate all of life’s moments, big or small, with our expertly crafted goods. We’re thrilled to be opening our doors to the community to start making connections.”
