The House of LR&C, the retail apparel chain co-founded by NFL quarterback Russell Wilson and his singer-songwriter wife Ciara, has opened at Roosevelt Field in Garden City.

The new 1,500-square-foot store at Roosevelt Field is the brand’s first on Long Island and first on the East Coast. Once an online-only business, The House of LR&C, which stands for love, respect and care, now has other brick-and-mortar locations in the Seattle and Denver suburbs and Scottsdale, Ariz.

The company was founded in 2020 when Wilson and Ciara partnered with retail veteran Christine Day, a former CEO of Lululemon Athletica who previously served as an executive at Starbucks.

The House of LR&C offers a variety of proprietary clothing lines including Good Man Brand menswear, LITA by Ciara womenswear, Human Nation streetwear, and 3Brand childrenswear.

The chain also focuses on sustainability, using recycled cardboard hangers, secondhand store fixtures and furniture and compostable shopping bags.

The company contributes 3 percent of profits from in-store and online purchases to Wilson and Ciara’s Why Not You Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to education, children’s health, fighting poverty and empowering youth.
